So we made ours from 100% cotton with a smooth sateen finish — the kind of soft you actually want to sleep on — and wove it more open, so air moves through the fabric and heat and moisture leave the bed instead of sitting on you.
It’s 300 thread count. We could have made it higher. Higher packs the threads tighter, trapping more humidity and making it harder for your body to cool down.

Most of them are synthetic. Ours are 100% cotton, because that’s the only way they feel like cotton.
